Although Kylie acknowledges that she didn’t get to meet her husband Jason Kelce’s younger brother right away, she says she had heard nothing but positive things about him before that day.

The 31-year-old mother of three made an appearance as a guest on Sterling Holmes’ show Stacking the Box on Friday, June 14. Holmes questioned Kylie there over her initial encounter with the 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

She said to Holmes, “Jason and I had been together for quite some time before I actually got to meet Travis.” “I mean, through the entire football season at least.”

Kylie claims that because of their conflicting sports schedules, the introduction to the recently retired Philadelphia Eagles center’s brother was delayed.

She claimed she had never really met the person she had heard so much about until her brothers were in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl.

“I had never been on a Kelce family vacation, so that turned into one, so it was a full dive into the Kelce pool,” she remembered. “So, not only did we have the entire Kelce family together, which is uncommon, but Jason had been promoting his brother to me for months on end.”Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce attend Thursday Night Football Presents The World Premiere of "Kelce"

Jason, 36, couldn’t help but brag about Travis during this period, telling his wife “what an amazing person” he was.

The NFL player’s “how kind and generous and loving” qualities would likewise be mentioned by Jason. Furthermore, Travis “lived up to” all the kind things Jason had said, in Kylie’s words.

“The former hockey player said, ‘He is hilarious, and is the best uncle and an outstanding brother-in-law.”Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce are both three-time All-Pro picks and each has won a Super Bowl. The big advantage: Travis is 2-0 against his older brother. Their mother Donna Kelce talked exclusively to PEOPLE earlier this year about the crazy journey they’ve taken to reach new heights of celebrity.

“It’s been an enjoyable and bizarre journey to experience,” Donna stated to PEOPLE in January.

Being able to spend time with my children and appreciate new experiences, locations, and people. And since it was a difficult journey for them to get to where they are now, I’m delighted that they can now enjoy the rewards of their labour.

She also mentioned that the lack of cousins for them to play with contributed to her boys’ early bonding.

“Neither my brother nor my husband’s sister had any children,” Donna said to PEOPLE. “They used to yell at me because they didn’t have any cousins to play with on Christmas,” said Jason and Travis. We had a close-knit group and constantly looked out for one another.

She remarked, “They’re each other’s biggest fans.”
