For a worthy cause, the reigning Super Bowl champions Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce joined together with some of the best comedians. “The Big Slick Party and Show,” a yearly fundraiser for Children’s Mercy Hospital, was held on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Centre.

Actors Eric Stonestreet and Paul Rudd, who are both ardent supporters of the Kansas City Chiefs, headlined the comedic event alongside comedian Rob Riggle.

A skit that was performed during the occasion was similar to the famous “Saturday Night Live” comedy “Da’ Bears.”

Instead, comedian and actor Jason Sudeikis made jokes and took a shot at the Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker, while Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes made an appearance. In jest, Sudeikis enquired about Kelce’s intentions to wed Taylor Swift.

“When are you going to turn her into a trustworthy woman? Taylor is no longer required to work. I agree with your kicker, Sudeikis remarked.

You’re really going for it, Kelce said.

Since its inception in 2010, the event has raised over $25 million, including $3.9 million this year.

“I’m not going to lie President Biden, they told me if I came up here, I would get tased,” Kelce said.

President Biden and Kelce were referring to a specific occasion during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2023 visit to the White House.

As the team was performing on stage, Patrick Mahomes grabbed Kelce as he was going to speak because he was worried about what he could say.
