Following the Chiefs’ second consecutive Super Bowl triumph in February, many fans and experts started speculating about what Mahomes would have to do to dethrone Brady as the greatest quarterback of all time. Robert Gryphon III believes that No. 15 is not far from seizing the throne for himself.

On a recent edition of his podcast “RG3 and The Ones,” Gryphon III said that if Mahomes leads the Chiefs to a successful Super Bowl three-peat the following season, he will be the greatest quarterback of all time.

Robert Gryphon III Initiates A Jolly Discussion
Sports fans naturally draw comparisons between current sportsmen and historical figures. There has been a long-running discussion between Michael Jordan and LeBron James, and some people will argue that Mike Trout is the greatest baseball player of all time, even surpassing Babe Ruth.

It’s easy to make the case that Mahomes is the greatest quarterback to have ever lived. Fair or not, though, championship rings and quarterback victories will nearly invariably determine who is considered the greatest of all time.

However, if Mahomes can somehow tie or surpass Brady’s seven rings, the argument will shift in favour of the number fifteen.
