Taylor Swift, Kelce’s girlfriend, provided her boyfriend some wise counsel in advance even though she was unable to attend Kelce Jam due to her sold-out “Eras” tour performance in Stockholm, Sweden that evening.

Before the show, Swift sent out a message that Kelce shared with Page Six: “Just go out and have fun.” Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2 Chainz were among the performers on the live show, which Kelce emceed. The 34-year-old tight end also sang a karaoke rendition of “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC on stage.

Before the show, Kelce made a humble statement to avoid being compared to Swift as a performer. He said, “It would be foolish of me to try to mimic what she does.” According to E! News, Kelce continued, “I know that she wishes she was here, but she has a lot of people she’s performing for.” In addition, he extolled the virtues of her revised “Eras” tour, which he had witnessed in Paris, France, the week before. “Taylor puts on amazing shows. You really should give them a try if you haven’t already. Before Kelce arrived at the Kansas Azura Amphitheatre, a welcoming video featuring the 14-time Grammy winner aired. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes joined his fellow three-time Super Bowl champion on stage while DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” played for the audience while Swift was not present. Along with defensive end George Karlaftis, rookie Louis Rees-Zammit, and Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie, Brittany Mahomes and her brother-in-law Jackson Mahomes attended the event. Tommy Townsend, a former Chiefs punter, was also present during the performance.
