SHE’S THE NICEST: Emily Blunt Thought Her Daughter Was ‘Going to Faint’ While Meeting Taylor Swift

Officially, two generations of Blunt women are Swifties. Emily Blunt raved about her family’s mutual passion for Taylor Swift in an interview with Howard Stern on Tuesday, April 30. She recalled the moment the pop star’s one comment left her oldest daughter speechless.

After presenting the “Anti-Hero” singer to her children, Hazel, 10, and Violet, 7, the actress told Stern, “She’s the nicest.” “She treated my kids so well.”

Blunt, who has the children with husband John Krasinski, went on, “My oldest kid had just cut all of her hair off, this very short haircut that she was very self-conscious about.” “God, Taylor Swift, you’re just this cool kid from the 1960s Beatnik era. Look at you.” Your style is amazing.

“I was afraid my kid would pass out,” the Oppenheimer star continued. It was the nicest thing that someone could have done for my kid. She’s really awesome.

A few weeks ago, Blunt and her Fall Guy co-star Ryan Gosling disclosed their favorite Swift song. That was before the interview. She confirmed that she 100% identifies as a Swiftie at the time by saying, “I’d say ‘Cruel Summer’ is pretty up there for me,” to Fandango. The Canadian actor said, “‘All Too Well’ right now has a real soft spot in my heart.”

A few days later, Blunt and Gosling paid tribute to the latter’s Barbie character, Ken, on Saturday Night Live with a parody of the Red ballad. Soon after, Swift posted a positive review of the performance on social media, saying on Instagram, “All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version)!!!” Watch as I unintentionally record myself performing this song live.
