The Chiefs tight end is still in awe of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s love story and is savoring every moment of it.

The three-time Super Bowl champion discussed his continued amazement at landing the wealthy singer on the most recent episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, which also included rapper Lil Dicky.

The rapper, whose real name is David Burd, called Swift and Kelce’s brief affair “the best thing ever” and added that he could see why fans were drawn to them because of how “American” and “classic” their relationship seemed.

Kelce answered, “Thank you very much. Lil Dicky retorted, “You did it because you called her out. I don’t know how the f–k I did it. She wasn’t into sports, so I don’t know how I did it.”

The rapper was presumably alluding to the time that Kelce tried to make a move on Swift in July 2023 by offering her a friendship bracelet at her show, but he was “blocked” from seeing her since she was protecting her voice before the performance.

“Oh, I see exactly how I managed to do it,” Kelce chuckled.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal Magazine, the All-Pro tight end claimed that he “played cupid” and soon after that, he received a text from Swift, and the two started dating.

Kelce remarked, “It’s fun,” on the show. “I’m just flying high in life, baby, having an absolute blast.” Everything is fun for me. introducing fresh perspectives to the football community and expanding its horizons.

Anyone who criticizes the couple’s courtship, according to Lil Dicky, is merely a bitter loser.

“Honestly, my take on it, not that you want to spend time talking about it for the five thousandth time, but I just think there is something that makes everyone feel like the world is kind of like high school, where the most popular popstar and beloved musician somehow met the most popular beloved athlete and they actually fell in love and it’s just real.

“Anyone who hates on it is a bitter loser, but I think a lot of people who you would maybe expect to hate on it, love it, and they acknowledge they love it because it’s just so — there is something so American about it …There is something classic about it.”

Jason once said that since he started dating Swift, he and Travis had gained a lot of new followers.

He continued, “I don’t know if you’ve heard of them, but they’re called Swifties.” Lil Dicky answered, “Yeah, I have.” How is everything working out for you guys?

Things haven’t altered “that much for me,” according to Jason, but they are a little different for Travis.

Travis had to relocate to a new house in Kansas City for security reasons, the brothers claimed in an earlier podcast episode.

After starting a romantic relationship during the summer, Travis and Taylor made their relationship public in October 2023.
