The singer was the talk of the most recent episode of the podcast “The Squeeze,” which is hosted by 31-year-old Taylor Lautner and his 26-year-old wife, Tay.

Lautner revealed that the couple had been “flooded” with interview requests since the Twilight actor co-starred in Swift’s music video for “I Can See You,” which also featured actresses Joey King and Presley Cash, during Wednesday’s episode, aptly named “Taylor’s Version.” He stated that they wished to narrate the narrative themselves, though, “out of respect” for their relationship with the pop artist.

While his wife referred to Swift as a “mastermind,” Lautner praised the singer and labeled her a “genius.”

He remarked, “We’ve been really excited about this secret for the last few months.” “We were excited for everyone to see the video because we’ve known for a while how freaking awesome it is.”

The social media star and qualified nurse also mentioned that, prior to the video “coming to fruition,” her husband had talked about how he would have handled Swift’s spat with Kanye West at the 2009 VMAs.
