The singer paid tribute to the late sports star by walking out with a very personal piece of jewelry.

For her most recent visit to the recording studio, Taylor Swift just ventured out wearing a very sentimental piece of jewelry.

The 34-year-old “Lavender Haze” singer added a piece of jewelry from her wife Vanessa Bryant’s 2022 Mambacita x ZC jewelry collection, which was a partnership with the L.A.-based jewelry brand Zoë Chicco Fine Jewelry, to her casual athleisure ensemble. The necklace featured a quote from the late sports icon Kobe Bryant.

Swift’s necklace has a gold circular pendant with Kobe’s complete name underneath the quote and the words “Bet on yourself” inscribed on it. The inspirational saying stood out even more on the gold pendant because it was surrounded by diamonds.

While Swift also wore a Men’s Adidas Graphics Animal Polar Fleece Jacket on Thursday, the pendant is no longer available online because Vanessa’s collection was only made available to the public for a month after its introduction. It costs $120 online.

On Instagram in 2022, Vanessa, 41, thanked her followers for their support and posted an image of the collection. “The limited capsule will be available for one month and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation, dedicated to creating positive impact for underserved athletes and boys and girls in sports,” she wrote.

Swift has opted to honor her friend Kobe, who performed live at The Staples Center in Los Angeles in 2015 as part of her 1989 World Tour, and his daughter Gianna Maria-Onore in a variety of ways, including her jewelry choice on Thursday. Kobe passed away in 2020 at the age of 41 and 13 years old.
