“He The Best”: DJ Khaled’s Unforgettable Moment Receiving a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

DJ Khaled is set to earn a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 11. After a lengthy list of noteworthy accomplishments, the award-winning DJ, record executive, and record producer at last receives his well-deserved star.

Khaled’s career has included six albums, four top-charting singles, and four Grammy nominations. DJ Khaled was joined in addressing at the ceremony this morning, which took place next to Amoeba Music, by his partners and friends Fat Joe and Sean Combs. Rapper and businessman Jay-Z, together with his wife and two children, accompanied Khaled.

The star currently has 2,719 stars after the original 1,558 stars were put to the Walk of Fame in 1961.

This is a noteworthy accomplishment for DJ Khaled, who began his career in 1998 as a radio host on WEDR-FM (99.9) in Miami alongside Luther Campbell, popularly known as Uncle Luke.


Witnessing Khaled’s success has been amazing. His debut album Listennn… the Album was released in 2006, and it reached at No. 3 on Billboard’s charts for rap and R&B/Hip Hop. His second album, We the Best, was released the following year and peaked at No. 2 on both charts.

His last five albums have topped the charts. Top singles include “Popstar,” “Wild Thoughts,” and “I’m the One.” 

With the late Nipsey Hussle providing vocals and John Legend playing keys, Khaled won the Grammy for “best rap performance” in 2020. His other two Grammy nominations were from his work on H.E.R.’s “Back of My Mind,” which was nominated for album of the year in 2021, and Major Key’s “best rap album” in 2016.
